After President Uhuru Kenyatta Offered a 1Billion Miraa Fund, Students Launch Miraa Juice
When President Uhuru Kenyatta announced a 1Billion miraa fund, critics thought it was just a political move to win the Meru and its environs vote.
The said that the decision was as a pressure from Meru leaders who demanded action after the crop was banned in the UK and the Netherlands two years ago.
The Lobby groups criticized Uhuru’s move to set up the fund and wanted the President to address the issue of lack of market
President Uhuru Kenyatta said the funds would be availed through the Ministry of Agriculture, but this new innovation might see part of the funds experience a shift after JKUAT came up with Miraa Juice.
