Poem: Daughter of the Sea

Daughter of the sea
Just like a star of twilight
The Kenyan coast
She a boom of bougainvillea
Her way of movement
Like a shake dance of the palm
In the afternoon by the sea
Her feet barely touch the floor
Her smile
Her touch spiritual
The magic as she turns
The stick on the pot
Of the pilau aroma in the kitchen
She makes me believe it
Twists
Daughter of the sea
Beautifully wrapped in the dark leso,
Brings out the best art of creation, artistic curve
Her white teeth,
Immaculately polished
Her eyes, as she throws back her veil
Her hair
Daughter of the sea
Makes me don’t want to leave home.

THOSE WHO DIDNT KNOW CALISTERS WANJALA A WANNABE SOCIALITE

CALISTERS, A SOCIAL MEDIA GURU IN HIS OTHER WORLD
Brian Babu
Firstly, the name Calistus is not in the English dictionary. My concubine who is good at German language also confesses that it is not in German. It is not a name therefore.
Anyway, a name means nothing to him and it is so unfortunate that he thinks that. This man Calistus tries all crooked means to rise to fame. He is just a typical male version of Vera Sidika or Wema Sepetu of Tanzania.
It is so sad that a man of over 2 decades old is ever worried of having fun, when it is a general fact that he doesn’t have funds.
Calistus not only seeks attention from foreigners whom he will never meet, but also locals who have never appreciated him. He tends to forget so quickly.
I hold a low opinion of any man who starts posting semi naked pictures of muscle stuffed body on platforms like social media in the name of modelling. He will jump to defense that I talk this way because am slim. No, Calistus seems to forget too quick.
I will remind him that me and him have never been on the same boat. He used to love politics until he was misled by some girl (who was my student) that he is sexy. That is the genesis of him imagining that he is cool. The girl, deluded as he is, lied to him, and he can’t realize that, just because he can’t.
The girl gave him an ego that is really not correct. Calistus ever since disowned me as a friend. He pushed me from his circle because he feared I will say the truth. He just can’t believe he is on twitter.
I don’t mind Calistus with his baseless concoctions threatening me of jail, simply because he has been to jail. Someone may say I have a personal vendetta with him. No. while Calistus was being jailed for fraud I was in Kiambu making a living, honestly and well. He unfortunately has never mastered the art of deception. He thinks life is about being on Facebook lying. Methinks prison is not good enough for such.
The church is. Ohh, I forgot to tell you he is a “committed Christian”. Only that I have all the reasons to question his Christianity. The Christianity that saw him fall from a loyal altar boy to a noisy socialite wannabe on Facebook.
However, I need to know several things.
Why was he demoted from a youth leader to a usual faithful?
Why was he, as a committed Christian, get in CID custody for fraud and forgery/
Why should he, if he says he is as rich as he claims, post semi-nude pics of him on Facebook to get attention? Bill Gates and Richard Branson gets media attention, they don’t solicit of the same using nudes.

The TV addiction menace

People have a strange relationship with television, psychologically. Though in surveys they list it low on the list of activities they enjoy "in general," when scientists collect data in real-time—i.e., they ask subjects while they are watching TV if they're enjoying it—television is rated quite high and viewers are truly relaxed. However, after turning off the tube, people report feeling worse than before. So, just like an addict with a drug, you subconsciously end up watching more television to put off the crash that comes when you turn the set of
TV, especially soap opera addicts exist everywhere from the Far East to the USA. Those people stay glued on television on daily basis for three hours or more and sometimes have to drop important activities just to be able to watch television for few more hours.
The dangers of television addiction are really bigger than what you could imagine and the following few examples will show you what such addiction can do to your life:

Programming your mind: Just as watching Storm Over Paradise programmed my mind the movies that you watch will program your mind too whether you want or not. Watch a lot of drama and you will become a cry boy, watch a lot of action movies and you might become violent or watch a lot of horror movies and you might start to believe in ghosts.
children of today have grown violent as a result of too much smack-down watching and violent movies.
  • Changing your beliefs about life : Why do so many people want to get rich in two weeks? Why are keywords such as “How to become a billionaire over night” are among the popular search keywords? Why do people feel really bad when they get rejected for the first time?? Movies have taught us that good guys fail, face problems but usually solve them before the end of the movie. It never takes the Good guy more than few days to move from poverty to wealth, from being unknown to being famous and from being sad to being absolutely happy. When your beliefs about life change you start to assume that life events should be similar to the events you saw in the movies but unfortunately this only results in disappointment. The most famous example out of them all is not being able to get over someone just because of thinking that he was the one. In my book How to get over anyone in few days i described how the media can program our minds with beliefs that hinders recovery such as "the one" or "the soul mate".
  • Depressing You: Watching television for extended periods of time have been linked to depression. Moreover this depression might prevent you from being able to stop watching TV and so a cycle of depression and television addiction is developed.
  • That is why young girls get frustrated simply because their boyfriends or fiances don't treat them like Jose Maria or Alejandro.
  • Makes you feel guilty : Usually television addiction is associated with delaying important tasks or wasting time that should be allocated to your family. This results in feelings of guilt that keep increasing in intensity as you keep watching.
  • Negative thinking: 99% of the news that appear on Television is negative. Lots of movies and TV series have negative messages embedded within. Being subjected to such negative messages and news results in bad feelings and in even turning you into a negative thinker.
  • people tend to imagine they shall rob a train on transit like Vin Diesel or Paul Walker and get rich overnight.
  • Final words about television addiction
  • Television addiction is really bad and can result in dramatic changes in your mood and life style.
The problem with television addiction is that it might not appear as dangerous as nicotine or drug addiction but when taking a deeper look you will find that it could have a damaging impact on your life. Break this habit before it breaks you.

CHRONICLES OF A FEUD; How Facebook has been misused by wannabe socialites to solicit cheap sex

CHRONICLES

chronicles
 OF
A FEUD

A prelude to the society we want

Brian Babu

Chronicles of a feud
Part one of the series
       I.            Morality under siege
Chronicles of a feud is a blueprint to a revolutionary generation that will come to a reality, a generation that will stop wishing and start working, a generation that will wake up from the bad illusion of fun to fight for a better life, a life that is free from the bad wishful thinking of living a luxury to living a life. A generation that shall not simply spend money that they have not earned to impress people they don’t like for reasons they know not.
It is sad of the happenings in our society these days. Not just the young but the old alike. Our society is rotten to the core. We are in a world where respect is a noun in the dictionary just with the intent to make the dictionary complete. It makes less sense.
The feudal Lord, as an introduction bit, cannot know where to start or who start with.
I would have said I will start with the least affected areas but as earlier on said, we are in a total messy wretch, a generation of evil, swimming in the stench and rot of lost direction, a pool of devil-may-care attitude, literally sinking in the miasma of immorality.
Like Martin Luther King Jr, I haven’t seen the whole staircase but I am determinedly making my first step, the step of faith.
I will take on the mother of all evil. The platform through which all evils have been pollinated and are currently germinating at a promising rate, a platform through which all evils sell for free, custodians of all current evils. THE SOCIAL MEDIA.
Facebook, twitter, Instagram and WhatsApp are just but a few social media platforms that are the online market where all vices are transferred of ownership. As few as they are, they have ruined and besieged the Africanism and our good morals especially among the young generation.
Mark Zuckerberg is a happy man, successful and rich at a young age (though nowadays we don’t even know how to the difference between the aged and the young), as the founder of Facebook, because his invention is the world’s largest social platform.  However deep inside him he must be a troubled man seeing his platform used for all the wrong purposes. It is now an online brothel, an online market for trading cheap sex and an easy way for selling pornography. Mark in silence rests his hands on his chin as the tool he created for linking up with old friends and schoolmates is now a tool for public display of affection and selling nudes I soliciting for cheap sex.

It has become a normal thing for girls to yell to the universe how much they are on demand. Instagram is the place where girls less than thirty years of age post their tattooed breasts. They
Arrogantly display their bleached thighs and exaggerated buttocks that suffer the torture and discomfort from tight short skirts and shorts.
Zuckerberg in utter disbelief watches his invention being used massively for all the wrong reasons. Our young girls hurling insults at how the man she spent the previous night with is a weak old thing with a flaccid short manhood than the one she was with a few hours before. Then her friend who is similarly intellectually challenged with sexual ambitions that can’t be satisfied by even Karma comments advises her to seek older and more masculine men like she does. The circle goes on.

The other girl posts her seminude pictures flaunting bottles of expensive whisky and shisha smoke in some dinghy night club, with some reckless boy of similar mental case lustfully grabs
her exposed thighs. Captions like “partying like it is my job” accompanies the pictures with the bid to express sexual appeal and show the world how much sex they are having. After the party the obvious happens. The opportunistic boy who thinks using his balls instead of head shall take advantage of the whore’s drunkenness and mental challenges to carry her in his den of prostitution and have illicit unprotected sex. The following day the girl shall boast of fornication on Facebook.
Social media is to be a platform where the young ones exchange ideas, communications that build, educative talk. It is to be a tool for meeting new people with a prime purpose of getting to know each other’s thoughts that would better lives better lives and diversify cultures across the planets.

My little girls with besieged morality, I will sit back and watch as you post your nudes, smoking bhang and having sex with my father’s agitates. I will like your tattooed breasts, ragged jeans but I and my other men with correct reasoning, promise you several things.
1.      My daughter shall not suckle on tattooed breasts.
2.      My daughter won’t sit on thighs that have been caressed by uncountable men ad infinitum times.
3.      She won’t come through a channel that has received many masses of leathers and disgusting semen from men the age of her grandfather.
4.      My daughter’s diapers shall never be changed by fingers that have held countless rolls of bhang.
5.      My daughter’s cheeks won’t be kissed by lips that have kissed thousands of bottles of alcohol, chunks of lips of men whose name I can’t even pronounce, liters and cans of lip gloss and lipstick.
6.      My daughter’s eyes shall never meet with those that have no brows.
7.      My daughter won’t be carried in a womb of a serial killer who has had countless series of abortions. She might kill my unborn daughter.
If you saw Rihanna with lipstick and did the same, go look for Chris Brown to marry you. If you saw Beyoncé’s nudes on Instagram and aped the same, who told you Jay Z can’t sustain two wives? If you saw Nicki Minaj breasts and enhanced your little guavas, go look for a husband on Instagram.
I predict doom for all the girls who do the above mentioned bullshit on social media.
The bible says in Proverbs 18:22 that he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from God.
A tattooed breast and nudes of Facebook is not and should not be misinterpreted as a favor from God. If it means having such, then I rather have a baby through my manhood.
You can have a thoughtful day, won’t you?

Art of Poetry is not plagriarised, it is correct and real creativity

The intruder
The village of Nasoni was just okay
It was peaceful
No one dared made the well dirty
The well was just pure
Its water knew only the villagers mouths
And calabashes
The village was peaceful
The council of the elders was all idle
And happy at the peaceful state of affairs
An abominable occurred
The well served a foreigner
A foreigner travelling to another land
A passerby
Put his filthy fingers in the well
And took not a sip…but a gulp of the water
The elders knew it
Sat in silent
Ashamed
The youths afraid and ashamed of their negligence
Of their inability to detect a stranger
The children too could feel the tense air
The women whispered as they met in the market
No one wanted to talk about it
The gods were annoyed
The ancestors haunted too….
Not even a white goat or a blue chicken could wash the evil.
Pain…fear
The oil skin for the house, had spread the strangers skin
The well had to be filled with soil
Soil from the collapsed pit latrine
A disgrace, by the intruder
Who gulped and run away.

Drug tests mandatory for college admissions in Philipines

The Philippines is stepping up President Rodrigo Duterte's battle on drugs with incoming college freshmen set to face tests for illegal drug use from next year, an education official said on Friday.
A wave of 2,400 killings unleashed in a war on drugs since Duterte came to power two months ago has gained popular support in the Southeast Asian nation, but has alarmed the United Nations and the United States, Manila's close ally.
The government seeks to make drug testing a requirement for all incoming college students, said Julito Vitriolo, the executive director of the Commission on Higher Education.
"This was born out of the president's call to make campuses drug-free, because we see the pervasive effects of drug use," he said in a television interview.
"What's important is for students not to use drugs. It will be a deterrent if they want to continue their studies," Vitriolo said, adding that those testing positive could go through rehabilitation before being admitted to college.
Drug testing for university admission is now done on a voluntary basis.
"It is something that we should be doing because the drug menace is real," Monico Jacob, president of STI Education Systems Holdings Inc, told Reuters, referring to compulsory tests.
If this is to e introduced in Kenya maybe Campus hooliganism and goosnism might reduce.
However this will be probably met with riots and mass actions. Drugs are a source of school fees for some,,,,an easy source of wealth.

This man Babu

All about Babu
Introduction
“Freedom of expression should be unconditional”
“The correct thing is to express, speak, enunciate, and articulately relay morally accepted sentiments correctly, void of tendentious, partisan or prejudiced myths which are irrational unfounded and of nonsensical impact to the  honorable, good and upright ears”.
Babu Brian-author

On the breezy morning of Thursday 7th July 21 about two decades ago a young lady in the name of Annette Navalayo gave birth to a brown beautiful bouncing baby boy who they named Babu Juma Brian. The boy grew up to be a smart kid with an exceptional lingual prowess.
He is that lad who started school at a tender age one and a half years. He amazed his teachers by his ability to express himself and his power of language use tender as he was of age.
The boy grew up writing short stories in school and compositions that made his teachers shed tears. His creativity perplexed, amazed, astonished, flabbergasted, overwhelmed, stunned and brought a serious mental impact on them.
Rumors, gossips, hearsays and reports were confirmed that whenever he stepped in the staffroom teachers would be seen picking their dictionaries because when this boy opened his buccal cavity to articulate his vivid experiences, opinions and issues in  English, teachers would complain of mild headaches due to the tough language the boy used that send them agape and mesmerized  with such powerful oratory skills, which most of them found difficult, burdensome, cumbersome and hard to decipher, decrypt, decode, or understand.
Come the year 2010 he joined Khasoko High school where his teacher Mr. Paul Wafula grew the mustard seed of composing verses that exhibited conscious attention to patterns in him.
On the night of 7th May 2012 at 8:23 PM on the last classroom to the south east of Khasoko High School, the boy completed writing his first poem called “Moments of desperation”.
The poem was in memory of his fallen mother, which for two weeks he couldn’t find the right words to write before he finally completed the emotional poem.
It should also be noted that during his schooling period he was never given leadership posts because they all considered him more of an activitist than a leader.
His debating skills were evident and whenever he started laying out his points even the senior class members couldn’t talk because they had a fear, phobia, terror, respect and veneration for his verbal skills and were not ready for a verbal ordeal.
His works have been presented for performance on various platforms. He has also received several acknowledgements out of his work.
Six years later, the boy is a controversial speaker, orator and eloquent of terms.
Brian Babu Juma is a controversial, strife social media guru who uses the social media to express his words.
His key focus is politics, lifestyles and leadership where he expresses his opinions freely and using the correct words.
Through his words, he has made friends and enemies. He is loved and loathed in equal proportion. But making foes never stop him from speaking his correct mind correctly.
Babu Brian is never economical, frugal or thrifty with words and is guaranteed freedom, both during and after expression.
His inspiring and positively inciting blog posts have earned him respect from senior members of the society whose names have been with held due to political reasons.
Babu has earned reputation, respect, admiration, reverence and honor due to his straight forwardness and fearless expressions. He believes in calling a spade a spade.
Babu as a household and brand name commands respect, truth and fearlessness. He is open to criticism and just like a balloon, his mind functions while open.
Babu is a teetotaler, sober and freethinker who believe in transparency.
